Message from the CEO
HEAVEN CAN WAIT!

“It’s time we have a candid talk, Sir”! A sentence burned in my mind. It was during a telephone conversation with the doctor treating my wife Anneke with cancer.
The candid talk was no more or less an introduction to let me know that more prolonged treatment had no sense anymore. I knew it, but it was hard to accept. So I prayed a lot and asked God for more time together, knowing the end was near.

Anneke was not yet ready to meet Jesus; she believed it was more beneficial for Jesus to be here on earth than to have a wonderful life in heaven.
Heaven could wait for her, and she shared with me and our daughter Amber that we still had to do much work.
But God took these hardworking evangelists after 77 years home and left us with her wish to bring more souls to Jesus.
She understood that we were not in this world for no reason. The reason Jesus gave us, and we find in Mathew 18-20;

“”” Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.”””

I believe and let me use the doctor’s words: “It’s time we have a candid talk, brothers and sisters.” It is also a talk about life or death.
Jesus has been evident that in God’s eyes, we are dead. But He is the DOOR to receive new life, eternal life! How many people, as you know, are dead and will never be alive until something or somebody leads them to Jesus? I am sure more than the fingers of your two hands!

We just ended an election in Kenya using helicopters, lots of cars, and billions of shillings to convince the public about the choices they had to make to vote for the best leader. And in five years, we will do it again.
Compare that with ministries like Family Media convincing the world, your world, that the only way for eternal life is Jesus.
Otherwise, life is senseless and dramatic short.
“We” are talking to someone you just counted on your two hands.

Because this candid talk is also about our ministry, Kenya’s economy is suddenly in free fall. As a result, prices are rising, and many people cannot sponsor our Stations anymore.
We are nosediving into a situation where we can no longer pay salaries and monthly costs. Our plans for better cars, a new building, and a better marketing plan to get more viewers and listeners are frozen.

But the situation is not as bad as when the doctor called me for Anneke. But, then, no medicine could help her anymore. Our ministry needs only more money, and I know that all our money belongs to God. So don’t hesitate. If you or your friends are blessed with it, use it to keep Jesus on the airwaves.
